Stopped in during Happy Hour and was instantly impressed with the place. Don't get me wrong, I did my due diligence and checked it out on this somewhat popular app called Yelp - perhaps you've heard of it..lol The Happy Hour menu is full of tasty delights like the Seoul Wings...just Wow! Korean style wings that were sheer perfection. Since I consider myself a chicken wing connoisseur (yes, that's a thing look it up) I'm qualified to rate them a 9/10 on the chicken wing critic scale. The service was great too. I was immediately greeted by one of the bartenders, offered and served a drink, and told about the menu. Superb Happy Hour experience. I'll definitely be back for the Seoul Wings!
Came here for my Birthday dinner while in Nashville as a last minute craving for sushi came over me. We were able to make reservations easy and once we got here we were greeted right away and seated. The ambiance was very date spot or a night out with the girls music was great but not too loud and you could hold a conversation. The sushi was fresh and the star of the show was the Ube espresso martini!! It was so delicious that I had to have another one! Really wish I had found this place sooner because there are many other things on the menu I wanted to try. Will definitely recommend when visiting Nashville.
We popped in for a happy hour treat before dinner and I was super excited to see this place! I'd never been before and was really happy with the experience - will definitely come back for dinner. Inside was gorgeous and it was a good-sized space, too! Our server knew we were in a little bit of a hurry and did a great job getting our food and drinks out quickly. Very grateful! I had an AMAZING cocktail - the miso old fashioned. It was unlike any other old fashioned I've had and it was a great surprise. So much so that I had to order a second one :) We got shishito peppers and nori fries - both were excellent!
Flew in yesterday from Brooklyn, NY for a few days and I was looking for a meal after my flight. Beautiful aesthetic upon arrival, and very conveniently located. I made a reservation last minute on open table. My host at the Airbnb recommended trying some food out in The Gulch, so here we are. I sat at the bar, which is not something I normally do, but the hostess (who was absolutely lovely) recommended it. I'm glad she did because was a beautiful installation above the bar, of a school of fish made out of palms, which I couldn't stop looking at. The bartender with very quick and so kind, we shared a few laughs, then I ordered the strawberry fields cocktail, the garden futomaki roll, the Korean fried chicken buns, and the adobo fried rice with vegetables. The strawberry cocktail was so good. I didn't even realize it had alcohol at some point. I was just taking them down so quick. The fried chicken buns came first, they made my tongue salivate when they opened the top of the basket lol! But I felt like we're too big to handle without looking like a barbarian fresh from the hunt. So I asked for a knife and cut them into fours. The garden roll was delicious, but it fell apart easily due to its large size. If they did two smaller rolls instead of one giant one, it would hold together as you're dipping. The adobo rice was so so, I felt like it had the potential to be so much better. It is lacking that punch of flavor that I would want in something that is supposed to mimic a Philippine dish. That garlic taste was there, but it was very oily, and the vinegary undertone I would expect was missing. Maybe it was because I ordered vegetable and not a protein, but it wasn't the highlight of the meal. Overall, If I lived here, I would most definitely return. It was however oddly dead by the time I left. But that is most likely because it's a Monday and I'm on vacation, so time is ambivalent to me at this current moment!
Walking in here, the decor is modern sleek. Dimly lit and super sexy. The service is really good here we were waiting on by Kevin, who always made sure our drinks were filled to the top checking on us constantly, the manager Roger came over to Brita's super nice friendly and hospitable and the food came pretty fast. Tuna roll was super fresh. Definitely would recommend. The brussels sprout dish was in credible spicy and not so spicy but you can't go wrong with another mommy pork belly bum or really nice as well. Definitely recommend great Asian pitstop in Nash.
Have been wanting to come to Sunda for years but I generally stay away from The Gulch & the tourist that swarm there. Needless to say, I did finally come down here for brunch after seeing the Sumo Mary on Instagram & deciding i needed that in my life. It was everything a young boy could want in a loaded Bloody Mary. Garlicky & Spicy & busting with flavor & vodka. Not to mention, it was loaded with yummy food from the menu. I would not hesitate to go back & order that again. I would also like to have dinner here but likely won't because I don't venture to the gulch that often. Service was nice & friendly. Dining room is very pretty & functions well for conversations.
Stopped for a quick dinner and the sushi was great. Service was quick. Sushi was fresh and tasty. We also got some appetizers. Recommend and would try again.
oh wow - one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a while! We were very impressed with the service - recommendations were spot on and we were checked on quite a bit. The restaurant itself was dark and moody, if that's your vibe! The food was amazing! The tuna melted in our mouths. The crab pasta is a must! The fried rice was sooo good. 10/10!
